Letter from Edward P. Henderson (Associate Curator, Division of Mineralogy and Petrology, United States National Museum) to Oscar Monnig stating that having looked deeper, he did find the initial Van Long letter but as they had never seen the stone, or received more information it had never been formally entered as a separate stone from four other nearby falls. Now that it has been confirmed as a meteorite, he has officially entered it into the record, opting to use the name Amber rather than Chickasha, both due to the locality it was found in and ease of pronunciation.
