Description
Letter from Oscar Monnig to Edward P. Henderson (of the Smithsonian Institution) discussing his plans for a trip to Europe which will mix both meteorite business and pleasure travel. Also sends on samples of a suspect meteorite from De Witt County, Texas, saying that he will not need them back, and that he suspects that it is just igneous rock, though he is not sure how it would have gotten to where it was found from where he thinks it would have to have originated.
