Henderson (of the Smithsonian Institution) stating that two days prior he had received a letter of thanks for his donation of the smaller Tishomingo specimens, and that now he feels it would be best if they were returned to him immediately. Repeats that he had no intention of donating them, and that he finds the business to be increasingly tiring.
