Letter from Dr. O.C. Farquhar to Oscar Monnig letting him know about a 69 pound specimen of the 1890 Admire, Kansas stone that was found the previous October by Elmer Stinson. Includes the information that he has examined the stone closely, that it appears to be in good condition, that he has let Ward's of Rochester know about it (to the end that it is now listed in their catalogue), and that he was told by Walter Houston told him about Monnig's collection.
