Letter from Oscar Monnig to R. C. Orr (the father of Glen Orr who found the Tishomingo meteorite) asking him to send on the six pound specimen of the Tishomingo meteorite so that he can pass it on to the Smithsonian for their testing to determine if this is actually a meteorite. Explains the most likely testing process, as well as how it would be best to ship the specimen on to Monnig before he would send it on to the museum.
