Letter from Oscar Monnig to Elvin Phipps letting him know that he has yet to receive the meteorite which Phipps had shipped a week previously, but he expects to receive it any day. At that point he will weigh it to determine what he owes Phipps-though he also says that he has decided to cut Phipps a check based on the estimated weight of 60 pounds and that he will then send an adjustment check if it is needed. Also congratulates him on his promotion into teaching biology.
