Letter from Oscar Monnig to Elvin Phipps stating that the express delivery of the main stone he was looking to buy happened while he was not present, and that he will send Phipps money to cover the cost of the Express delivery as it appears to have been pre-paid. Also says that he has weighed the stone, and will be enclosing payment for it based on that weight, while also requesting that Phipps tell him as much as he can about where and when it was found. Finally, asks after the other stone that Phipps had been looking to sell.
