Letter from Brian Mason (of the Smithsonian Institution Department of Mineral Sciences) to Oscar Monnig stating that they have looked at the samples of the Bells meteorite which he had left which them and have concluded that it is a Type II Carbonaceous Chondrite, though it would appear to be an intermediary between Type I and Type II. Asks if Monnig can be persuaded to donate 5 grams for analysis.
