Author | Schulz, Kirby |
Abstract | This thesis addresses the impact of quantitative easing on the decision making of individual business leaders and business leaders as a whole. First, an overview of the past, present, and future of quantitative easing is given in the form of a Literature Review to show the reader a timeline of events that has led the U.S. economy to its current state. In this section, an array of information is revealed including factual statistics, positive opinions, and negative opinions to show the different aspects of the policy. Two surveys were also conducted to collect data about the degree to which quantitative easing impacted various decisions made by business leaders since the recession in 2008. The first survey was distributed to business executives who sit on the various Neeley School of Business advisory boards and the second was distributed to a class of Neeley EMBA students. The data collected is further analyzed in the results section of this thesis. |
