E MEN is a memoir-esque creative nonfiction personal essay about the wonderful and horrible relationships I've had with men -- particularly my father and the men I've dated. The project also allows for a broader lens that examines gender issues, sexuality, the performance of masculinity and femininity, and relational dynamics between women and men on interpersonal and societal levels. So this is really not just about men. It's also very much about women -- in general, the ones in my life, and myself.
