Note re: flowers sent
Document
Dear Mr. Carter - That was the most breath-taking display of flowers that's ever come into my house - pink and white and lavender snapdragon almost five feet tall, huge pink and white peonies, purple iris, and yellow roses! Every time my eyes move around my living room they come to rest with a thrill of pleasure on one of the three big arrangements I divided your flowers into. And the card delights me! It is clever and apt for you and Sid. I shall keep it. All the family join me in sending our thanks for your thoughtfulness and always our best wishes, Lady Bird Johnson.
