dc.description.transcription	January 23, 1929 Dear Mr. Carter: I had hoped to be able to drop in at Fort Worth and thank you in person for your hospitality during my last visit. Business has kept me in the east, however, and next month I am making a trip to Panama over the Pan American Line. I certainly appreciate everything you did for me in Fort Worth. Everyone there seemed to wish to do everything possible to make my stay enjoyable. I am looking forward to seeing you again at the first opportunity. With many thanks and best wishes, Charles A.
