Feb. 3 -1940, Dear Mr. Carter: - I have used up all my vocabulary expressing Mr. Garner's appreciation for the cigars you are always sending him - so there is nothing left but "thank you" I can't testify from actual trial how good the cigars are but I can testify that the box they are in is a scanty - inlaid and all that. Still freezing up here. Love and best wishes from both Mr. Garner and me. Sincerely your friend, Ettie Garner.
