Oct. 15/43 My Dear Katrine: Upon my arrival home yesterday, I found your letter and Amon Jr's. & I'm hastening to reply and to thank you for sending it to me. You know, of course, how deeply interested I am, in that adorable boy. I find encouragement in his letter in the fact that he thinks he might get to England. I only hope it doesn't mean an exchange - as I couldn't bear the thought of his getting int the war again. Again thanking you & with personal regards you, your husband and Mr. Carter. I am sincerely yours Beatrice Burton
