Mar. 22.43 st. Louis. Mo Mr. Amon Carter. Dear Mr Carter, I was sorry to read the article about your son, but I hope by now you have had some good news. I promised to write to you, if we heard from Donald, which we did about three days ago. His letters were dated Feb. 22-28 and Mar. 2. He didnt mention the battle, but wrote of losing his camera, and a few other things so we think he was in it, and came out safe, as the letters were dated after the battle. I don't expect to hear from Don, for a while as I see, where the 1st Armoured Div. is in action now. If I hear anything I will write again, in the meantime I hope all the news is good. Sincerly Yours Mrs. J. Delaney.
