dc.description.abstract | "Embodied Perception" is a series of paintings of pictures of paintings by other artists, as they were found on the internet. They invite the viewer to reflect on the differences in experiencing paintings online and in person. They serve as a way to explore the constituent aspects of the psychological process of perception and how they inform the experience of a painting. The body of work consists of acrylic paintings on canvas. | |
