dc.description.transcription3-2-44Dear Folks,I’ve got 15 minutes before I have to go to night blinker code, so this will have to be an extra quickie. There is nothing new except that they are working us half to death. I just wanted to say how sorry I am that our line was so poor on the telephone this morning. I don’t think that either of you heard very much of what I said. I didn’t have anything to say anyhow, and besides I could hear both of you perfectly so I was satisfied, “stingey me.”Just a word about this airplane that theylet me herd around here every once in a while. It is a B.T. 13A. They have B.T. 15A & B.T. 13Bs here too but I haven’t flown any of them yet. They all have a 450 H.P. engine and believe me that’s lots of horses for a little boy like me to drive around at once. Anyhow it seems quite hard while I am still in the elementary learning place. I have only been up 3 times due to weather but it has been clear for the last two days and from now on these hours will start to pile up. I’ll call you when I solo this crate. This program that I’ve enclosed, I thought I sent it home about a month ago but I guess I didn’t. Anyhow this is how I spent one enjoyable, “believe-it-or-not” evening in Clarksdale.‘Gotta’go-Love,Joe
