WORTH, TEXASDear Folks,As much as I would like to write a letter I can’t because there is absolutely nothing to write. The weather is so bad that I have flown but 57 min. since before Xmas. We sit on the flight line half the day waiting for the fog to lift or the rain to stop or something and spend the other half in classes, P.T. & drill. Write me and tell all of the news. Hope you are feeling all right Papa. This is what I’m flying.Love, Joe[front of postcard: photo of airplane labeled FAIRCHILD PT-23 PRIMARY TRAINER]
