Sept 14, 1944 Dear Dad, It has already started getting cold again and there are 75 officers who don't have overcoats and over 125 who don't have an American blanket. We haven't seen the Red Cross Rep in over 4 months. We also have enough Red Cross Food Parcels fro 5 weeks and there are no more in sight. Col. Drake has been repatriated and I hope you get to talk with him. Thanks for picture of you & Larry. Have still not received all March parcels. Love, Amon Jr.
