Jan. 6 1943 St. Louis MO Dear Mr. Carter, About 3 weeks ago your editor called and told me that you had dinner with my son Donald. I've been wanting to write and tell you that we were very happy to hear from someone that had been with him. Donald had mentioned in his letter that he was in the same division with your son. Let me thank you again and wish you a Happy New Year, and I pray that both our sons will come home safe before the year is over. Yours Truly, Mrs. G. Delaney
