dc.description.transcriptionFrom Pilot Officer WD Devereux NO 107643 RAF Germany October 1 942 Dear Mother and Father When I was shot down into the North Sea by enemy fighters, I received a slight leg wound. Since then I have been well taken care of in a hospital am now thoroughly recovered. Tomorrow I am going to a prison camp for Air Force Officers and will unite again. All my love, Ever your loving son, Deane
