dc.description.transcriptionFeb. 25, 1945 Dear Mr. Carter, Am enclosing our last mail from our son (Dec. 17th) with group pictures attached. Thinking of you not have one of there in which your son too is included we shall be so gald for you to copy this. The names of the boys are written on the back of the picture , source of them we have because familiar with, notice the X on boy standing on second now tonight is our son, Roy J. Chappell Jr. the have made a guess at which to Jean son, but please but X son his picture so we may be sure in identifying him. Am also enclosing copy of telegram we received and we are hoping be too shall soon receive similar message. the phone you anxiety and feel certain the Russians will liberate those boys evacuated. The home appreciated how much all information you have furnished us with. Sincerely, Neelie Nash Chappell.
