dc.description.transcriptionDear Katrine: Mr. Carter might be interested to know that returning Allied Prisoners from Germany say that in the past 6 months German treatment has been particularly kind and nealry all of these Germans seens in contact with them new openly their expectation of early lows of the wars they keep the prisoners of war advised of of the the progress of the war. The germans have no doubt been particularly considerate of the officers - they still are quite concious and moved by rank this information casue from prisoners who inlcuded enlisted it is from a very reliable, confidential source. Hope you can read this quick update. Regards to all. The governments intentions to go into the oil business in foreign fields appear more evident every day after the war it will interest the government in bringing its share in here and will operate against guy effective tariff. I think the big fellows want the govenmentn in partnership with them.
