Carter Ft Worth, Texas Dear Amon- Connally was up to see me and told me of your wish & suggestion that I serve as Vice Chairman Tarrant Co & Ft Worth - "Will Rogers Memorial Fund" - I assure you it will be a pleasure to put the (?) I have in this work and consider it a privilege. I am (?) consented this afternoon, to act to as Treasurer - and I will submit for your approval in a day or so my list of the organization, namely - the vice chairman big gifts committee and etc - I feel particularly proud of your suggestion of myself in this fine wholesome movement and hope to meet your full approval after the job is done - Be home Thursday.
