dc.description.transcription3920 Odgen St Beaumont Tex Dec 16-1935 Dear Mr. Carter - I am taking the liberty of sending you a bas-relief I made of the beloved Will Rogers. I have sold quilts a number at $5 each and given a part to the memorial fund here. I hope you think it a good likeness & will buy it. I only had a magazine picture so if you have a favorite pose I can make you a bas relief for the same price. I enclose a newspaper clipping and if you want a personal reference - Perry Weiss has known me all his life. Thanking you Sincerely yours (Mrs.) Laura Setton
