Hereford Texas July 17/36 Mr Amon G. Carter Ft Worth Texas Dear Sir: - I am enclosing you 3 three small pictures of Will Rogers and "Big Jim" the Worlds largest Steer Night 3320 - made at his ranch in Beverly Hills at the time Mr Hill of this City presented the Star to Mr. Rogers. I have not been able to get these printed as yet as I have figured on Gravure, also - half tone, but I think hand made prints or Gravure will be best, but hand made prints runs up prices pretty fast. Note third party in picture he will be left out in finished product. You ask me to send these prints and make proposition to dispose of some at Frontier Celebration at Ft. Worth, a percent of sales to go to the fund (memorial) (or any fund you mite see fit is my idea) It is pretty hard for me to make proposition not knowing what Ft Worth will do, but from past I judge she will do her stuff in a big way- Now to get this started I will give 25% of Gross sales with no concession fee to be paid, and they can be sold in one of his displays, these pictures will be made up - from Post Card size to 8x10 inches and 11x14 and larger if any demand, which I am sure there will be. I am now figuring on some large size Genuine Oil paintings. Now as to the price of these pictures, some can be set by us, or I will set the price in keeping with the proposition but I think 10 cents - 1.00 and up. but I believe a big sale can be made from these pictures. I would appreciate if you will get my proposition before the committee at an early date, and notify me of the outcome as soon as possible. I can give you some good Ft Worth references Yours very truly Mark Hanna
