dc.description.transcription | Chelsea - Okla. Sept. 20-1936 Mr. Amon G. Carter, Ft. Worth Tex, My Dear Mr. Carter: - I appriciate very much indeed your wonderful hospitality as evidenced in your recent visit - I really don’t want to impose my family on you. Only meet them, Herb's trip has been postponed on account of a rush of work. It will probably be two weeks or more before he can leave home now. At last we in Okla. are rejoicing in a wonderful rain and wheat sowing is the order of the day. With warm personal greetings I am Sincerely Sallie C. McSpadden | |
