Dear Mr. Carter I am very much ashamed that this letter hadn't gotten off sooner. The belt you sent me is perfectly swell - I love it and am so proud of it. You were a darling to send it to me and I can't thank you enough. The nuts were wonderful. They disappeared so quickly that I think that shows how good they were. I am not doing the picture and am very happy about it. Consequently an overshot case of nerves I had when I saw you. Do hope you'll be coming out soon. Love Mary
