'I feel like a Lindbergh air mal stamp' Thus spoke Will Rogers when he landed at Los Angeles recently, the first commercial air traveler to fly from coast to coast and back again on a round-trip ticket. Rogers made the trip in a total of 81 hours, including all transfer stops and an eighteen-hour stopover in New York. 'He made the trip as a fast special delivery air mail letter, addressed from Los Angeles to Los Angeles via New York, 'Major C. C. Moseley of the air line used by Rogers, said, as the cowboy humorist and his pilot, Al de Garmo landed. Photo shows Will Rogers (right) and his pilot Al de Garmo. (XXXX) LA-FM 14 10/22/27."
