Letter to Mr. Van Long from Oscar Monnig stating that he had spoken with a friend at the National Museum (Edward P. Henderson) who had stated a lack of knowledge on the Amber/Chickasha stone. He asks if Mr. Long can recall who it was that he had spoken to as he is sure that the museum would be interested in getting a portion of the specimen. Monnig further offers what he feels is a fair deal for the majority of the stone, and offers to make sure that the portions he does not keep go to collections of Mr. Long's choosing.
