dc.description | Letter to Oscar Monnig from Frances C. Imon the Editor of the Southeast Oklahoman (Ceased publishing in 1963; also known as the Southeast Oklahoman and the Saturday Sun) passing on a clipping ("Fragment of Meteor Falls Near Atoka: Explosion Heard in this County by Many") from their most recent edition which he had been asked to do by Mrs. A.L. Stanley. He also says that she had passed on Monnig's request for information, and that he will be publishing it in their next edition. Finally he asks that he might be allowed to visit Monnig's home observatory the next time he is in the area of Fort Worth. Also includes a clipping from the Indian Citizen-Democrat in Atoka (became the Indian Citizen in 1958, and then the Atoka Indian Citizen in 1991.) | |
