Letter from Oscar Monnig to Walter Houston discussing his ongoing search for current contact information for Bill Phipps who had previously been a science teacher in Manhattan, Kansas, and who he believes is in possession of a meteorite specimen which he desires to acquire. Also mentions that his letter to Mrs. Manford Roberts has yet to be answered, and that he had recently received a visit from Edward P. Henderson from the Smithsonian which he believes might be angling to eventually take over both his and Houston's collections-something that he is opposed to due to it being a federal entity.
