Over my head

Abstract

My Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibition titled, Over my Head, is an account of three selves; the caretaker, the uncontrollable self, and the adolescent joke. Over my Head, is a remembrance of time and its signifiers, the smell of tar, the sound of a bang, a photo of shoes. This vulnerable work negotiates the relationship between both miniscule and monumental objects, spaces, and recollections, asking the viewer to navigate the turbulent tunnel over the artist’s head.
