Monnig 312 Leuda Fort Worth, Texas Dear Sir: I am informed that you have purchased a number of meteorite fragments found in this section and wonder if you are still in the market for such specimens. This week, on my farm near Deport, I found such a fragment wieghing [weighing] 8½ pounds, which local ameteur [amateur] meteorologists say is the real thing and a very fine specimen. If you are interested in purchasing this fragment, please let me hear from you at one, stating price and any other information, and I will mail it prepaid to you by return mail. Very truly yours, Hugh Evans Mr. Evans [found sport Tex 90 days ago in rocky gravely place. I send you a gram Jess Wood.] | |
