dc.description.transcription | 1. What kind of soil did you find this meteor in, and at what depth? Black land on top of the ground 2. When did you find it? June 1933 3. Please draw a sketch of your farm, and put an X on it showing where you found this meteorite. If you can do so, indicate also the location of your neighbor’s farms and where any pieces were found by them. 4. Have you ever had or sol any other pieces like this, and if so, what did they weigh, and when and to whom did you dispose of them? This is my first 5. Have you ever heard any story in that community of a big meteor or fireball having been seen, that might have dropped these pieces? If so, please give me any information you can about the year and (if possible) the date when the fall occurs. Never heard of any John G. Wright where the A. Williamson Ray found his meteorite | |
