dc.description.transcription | 1956, March 29. Mr. W. A. Gifford, Fulbright, Texas. Dear Mr. Gifford: Yes, I am still interested in the meteorites found near there. I am still paying 50 cents an ounce, which is actually rather a steep price for these since so many of them have been found. If the ore you have should be extremely large, say over two pounds, I might want to share this price some, because on a big one the fifty cents basis runs up rather high. Send it in if you will, and if you don't like my offer I'll surely return it. I enclose a mailing sack which could be used for any moderate sized piece, but it’s better to wrap a little paper around one and be sure the sack is well tied. Yours sincerely, | |
