R FRAGMENTS TO BE GIVEN UNIVERSITY Lockhart, July 27. - Fragments believed to be meteoric were found recently on the farm of C. C. Perry near here and will be given to the University of Texas. Perry unearthed the fragments while plowing. On the under side of the deposits it appeared that the substance had hit the ground with terrific force, partly fusing with the sandy soil. Inside on of them was found what appeared to be a chunk of brass weighing more than a pound. The two fragments weighed 150 pounds.
