dc.description.transcription | 1967, March 23: Mr. H. D.Carmmchael [Carmichael], Director, Dallas Health and Science Museum, Fair Park, Dallas, Texas. Dear Sir: I was in your museumbbriefly [museum briefly] early this month and noticed that the DuncanvilleasTexas [Duncanville Texas], stone, a rather large one, was no longer on display. I have no claims on this as it was located by the Dallas group but I understood at the time that the owner simply stated he did not wish to part with it, but would let it remain there on exhibit. As a matter of curiosity and heeding up with the known meteorites from this region, may I ask what has become of it? Yours sincerely, | |
