Dear Mr Carter= Your letter of Dec 21 has been sent to me here where Mrs A & I have been for the last month= So of course I didn't get the pecans, but I believe my son in law Jack Mitchell did & he writes me how wonderfully good they were. Anyway I thank you for remembering me, for as one gets older they appreciate I think more than ever= being thought of= especially by those they have known for a long time.
