dc.description.transcription | Silverton, Texas July 8th 1946. Oscar E. Monnig, 1010 Morningside Dr. Fort Worth, Texas. Dear Mr. Monnig, In replie [reply] to your letter of June 25th about the meteorite, my daughter in Idaho, I think have all of them and I will write her and find out. Will send them to you if they can be found. If you don’t hear from me again soon you will know that I could not locate them. Surely appreciate your expression of sympathy. Sincerely, Mrs R. F. Stevenson [Wrote Oct. 13, 1946 asking for name and address of daughter. She should have cut piece of Floydada iron, half of Silverton stone, one complete Canyon Diablo (see cards in our collection list) and perhaps a complete stone or two from Silverton that I never got to see or pick up.] | |
