dc.description.transcriptionW. P. Rooney Box 687 Fort Stockton, Texas March 7th 1960 Dear Mr. Monnig: The tax collect I wrote you about was G. L. Moore. I talked to one of his sons a few days ago that I was sure could know about the metorite [meteorite] as he is a collector of [unintelligible] books but he said he had never seen the metorite [meteorite]. There was quite a write-up a few months ago about the Sierra-Madera mountain some 12 or 15 miles south of Ft. Stockton it never thot some geologists claimed that there was a terrific explain there many years ago or a terrific [unintelligible] I thought if you had not seen this article you might want to look it up. I will be pleased to search you in any possible if & when you come work this way. I would suggest you look me a card in abound so that I will be here when you come. Sincerely yours W. P. Rooney
