dc.description.transcription | 1941 Aug 26. First National Bank, Lampasas, Texas Att. Mr. Fred Wolf, Cashier. Gentlemen: My avocation is amateur astronomy, & I am trying to get some information about a stone meteorite sold to a man in Lampasas about 1890. I am told that this meteorite was identified and the transaction handled by a man named Ramsdale, Ramsdell, or something of that sort. He may have lived on a ranch or farm some miles out of town. He would be about 70 years or older now if still alived. If you can tell me where this gentleman now is or some of his family, I'll appreciate it. A stamped envelope is enclosed. Oscar E.
