dc.description.transcription | 609 N. Enola Drive Orlando, Florida May 19, 1957 Dear Mr. Monnig: Your letter was received and I will try again to locate the piece of meteorite. I was unsuccessful before. I think I returned your magnet, didn't I? I meant to. We are distressed to hear of all the floods and tornados in Texas and the terrible flood in Lampasas, especially. Have you any pieces of this meteorite? I understood it was quite a large one, if I remember correctly. It fell on a farm and the farmer brought it to town in his wagon. I will write you again if I can locate anything. Sincerely yours, Nellie Ramsdell | |
