Abstract
A community is only as strong as its education system, and strong education happens when a community is invested, engaged, and intimately involved. Maestro, a TCU College of Education initiative, is a grow your own program that works directly with local communities to identify, inspire, and prepare more Hispanic male students to become the future teachers in their Texas and U. S. communities.
