Abstract
Fantasia is an orchestral piece I wrote to demonstrate my ability with a wide variety of compositional techniques. It serves as my thesis for a Master?s degree in Music Composition. Fantasia is scored for piccolo, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, bass clarinet, 2 bassoons, contrabassoon, 4 horns, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, tuba, timpani, and strings. (Not all instruments are used in each movement). Individual scores for each movement are provided as Finale files; they can be used to produce parts, and may constitute an improved score if printed as is--Abstract.
