Description
Article clipped from the August 23, 1936 issue of The Guthrie Daily Leader (of Guthrie, Oklahoma) reporting that Robert Brown (Original Member of the Texas Observers) has acquired his first specimen of the Crescent meteorite after encountering a young boy who had stumbled across it while out rabbit hunting. Expresses Brown's plans to continue seeking the main mass, as well as his assertion that meteorites have little monetary value outside of their scientific value.
