Letter from Oscar Monnig to Elvin Phipps saying that he has finally gotten a map of the Belle Plaine area from the US Geological Survey, and that he is enclosing two copies. Asks that Phipps mark one with where he found both the stone he has already sold to Monnig, and the other stone, and return it. Also mentions that he is still very interested in acquiring the second stone, and restates his offered price of $3 a pound and the cost of packing and shipping.
