Letter from Oscar Monnig to Hassell M. Ledbetter (of the Cryogenics Division at the Institute for Basic Standards) stating that as requested he had sent on a sample of Tishomingo for study, and that he is rather confused at the new request to cut the sample as it has already been cut, polished and etched. Also states a disbelief that much more could be learned from such an act after the work put in by multiple other researchers.
