Jany 3"1946 Dear Amon: Mr. Garner has been after me some days to write you about what he is doing daily, which has prevented him from writing you himself. To tell the truth - heis just too lazy. In spite of having "millions" of rabbits, which increaseas fast as "pigs is pigs" - he is busy with chickens, ducks, lambs and raising one calve for the locker. He takes time off to smoke one of your cigars a week. All of the above is what he told me to tell you except that he is lazy. Really he keeps busy thinking up things for every one else to do, so has no time to do what he should do. To go back to his cigars- he prizes yours so highly, he is saving them for his own selfish pleasure though dinnerdime has come and my strengh is gone. We both love you and think of you from day to day - Affectionately Ettie Garner
