Dec 30, 1942 North Africa. Dear Katrine, As usual it's raining cats and dogs and I am covered with mud. It's really a job trying to undress in a pup tent with muddy shoes and pants on. We have been getting 12 hours of sleep a night since we arrived here and I am fully rested up after having such a swell time in England. Here are the numbers of the Traveler's Checks I have in case I lose them or something happens to me. J6,828,742 through J6,828,749 J6,828,715 " J6,828,729 J6,828,700 " J6, 828, 714 C4, 497, 954 " C4, 497, 962 J6, 828,694 " K6, 828,698 There may be more but I can't find them now. Will write again in a few days. Love, Amon Jr.
